Sketch collection with the theme of “Architecture and Nature” on 2nd floor gallery space in Kinokuniya Bookstore in New York.
Yoshi | News | Friday December 18 2009This event will showcase a distinguished collection of architectural and floral sketches by me. This compilation has taken years to refine, is executed entirely in ink, and is inspired by some of New York’s most prominent architectural landmarks.
The pieces selected for the show includes skillful depictions of New York’s Grand Central Terminal, Washington Park Gate, the Empire State Building, and others. Each richly detailed architectural sketch is adorned with an alluring and aptly fitting floral motif or animal, thus harmonizing architecture with nature.
All my sketches are ideal for any interior space, home or office, and make enduring gifts for friends and family as well. The show runs from Friday, December 18th through Friday, January 31st, 2010 on the 2nd Floor of Kinokuniya Bookstore, which is located on 1073 Avenue of the Americas (Between 40 and 41st Streets; Across the street from Bryant Park). www.kinokuniya.com.
