YDNY’s recent project, “Brick Square,” was published as the main story in “Shoten Kenchiku, November Edition,” a popular design magazine in Japan. This successful retail complex is located in Marunouchi, a 5 minute walk from Tokyo train station in Japan.

This retail complex opened on September 3rd, 2009. The concept for this floor is a study room in a mansion during the Taisho Era (“Youkan” in Japanese) in Japan.

Yoshi created a collection of sketches consisting of popular historical New York buildings that are distinctly coordinated with their flower/natural counterpart, and vice versa. He named this collection, "Timeless Memory for Architecture & Nature in Harmony."

Yoshi's furniture designs harmonize timeless style and nature. He uses special patterned bamboo, over 500 year old vintage wood, and special fabrics with gold sandwiched between glass. His furniture is unique as tradition meets modern technology.

Eco Material

Through his international network, particularly in Japan, Yoshi has introduced a line of eco-friendly materials such as 100% natural paints and glue made of rice. He has also created his own material using special glass, kimono fabrics, bamboo, and aged wood.
